Barberton Police are investigating what appears to be the accidental shooting of a 20-year-old man at his Stratford Street residence.
According to police, three individuals were preparing to go squirrel hunting Monday afternoon when one person’s .22 cal. rifle went off, hitting the man in the groin.
The group drove to the victim’s Woodlawn Drive home where they called Norton Police and EMS. The man was taken to Akron City Hospital.
