The Barberton-Norton sewer agreement will now go forward.

In a letter released by the Summit County Board of Elections Oct. 19, the Board stated that only 319 valid signatures were contained on the petitions. The number needed to put the issue on the ballot was 322, which is equal to 10 percent of the number of electors who voted in the 2014 governor’s race.
