Betty V. Kreighbaum

Betty V. Kreighbaum, 88, passed away Saturday, July 7. She was a life resident of Barberton and retired from Yoder Brothers with over 30 years of service. Betty was an active member of Barberton First Church of Christ and an avid sports fan. Preceded in death by her husband, John; daughter, Linda Hanlin and mother, Nan Furman; Betty is survived by her children, Deb (Bill) Hill, John Jr. and Kelly (Ray) Hafler; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Shirley) Orndoff; sister, Ruth Poland; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be Friday, July 13 at 11 a.m. at Barberton First Church of Christ, 552 Harvard Ave., Barberton with Russ Shreiner officiating. Betty’s family will receive friends Thursday, July 12 from 5-7 p.m. at the Campfield Hickman Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave, Barberton.  Betty will be laid to rest with her husband, John at Greenlawn Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Barberton First Church of Christ.

    I have so many fond and crazy memories of the Kreighbaum home. For many years it was my second home. Debbie, you and I were inseparable!! I never saw Mrs. Kreighbaum that she didn’t greet me with a big smile and a hug.
    I an truly saddened by her passing. Bless you all
