A vehicle which fled from police was seen by an officer who followed it until the driver sped off then stopped behind a Lamberton Avenue apartment building.
The driver, identified as Edward J. Stoll, fled on foot but was found and arrested. After his records were checked, Stoll was arrested on a felony parole violation warrant out of Summit County.
The stop was triggered by a check of the license plate which revealed it was the subject of a recent traffic stop where the driver fled from police.
Stoll was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, having weapons under disability, improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle plus possession of methamphetamine and drug abuse instruments. He was also cited for failing to use a turn signal and driving under suspension.
