George Conover Selover, 81 passed away Saturday, Oct. 20. All George wanted to be was a Pharmacist. That is exactly what he did after graduating from Ohio Northern University in 1959 for the next 48 years. He also lived another dream by owning his own pharmacy, Highland Square Pharmacy from 1974-1191. He was a great success by offering service with a personal touch and as far as the competition he had no worries. George believed competition was something people made up in their heads normally people compete with themselves. George is survived by his loving companion of 23 years Joan Carlson; daughter Melanie Boxwell (Michael); son Gregory Selover (Lori); sister Billie Incorvati; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. George was grateful to the Ritzman Pharmacy Family and the associates that worked hand in hand with him at Ritzman Pharmacy. George considered himself a lucky man. We are celebrating his wonderful life and wish him Bon-Voyage until we meet again. Private services will be at the convenience of the family. If you wish to make a donation in George’s name please do so to the Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron OH, 44333 or to Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens, 714 N Portage Path, Akron Oh, 44303.
