Magics fall to Tri-Valley in playoff opener ***Video***

Barberton’s incredible season came to an end with a 10-0 loss to Tri-Valley at Green Memorial Stadium.

The Scotties scored on an interception return for a touchdown late in the first half to take a 10-0 lead. The Magics were dominant defensively but penalties and turnovers kept them from scoring.

Kyree Young rushed 16 times for 95 yards and caught four passes for 19. Chase Haywood completed 16-of-24 passes for 231 yards, 91 going to Derrick Vaughn.

Gavin Krska picked up a sack defensively, and he also joined T.J. Moss, Jordon Hayden and Kionnie Dukes for another.

The Magics finished the season with a 10-1 record while Tri-Valley moved on to play Wadsworth Friday, Nov. 9.

    Surprised the Gotto didn’t blame thee officials for the loss, clearly overrated in the league

    Good year. At least they made it to the finals. On to next year!

      They lost in the first game of the playoffs. Good season though.

    Heck of a year. Should be proud of what you all accomplished. Unfortunately not everyone can advance. Thanks for the thrills.
