Andrew Wooley, of 30th Street Northwest in Barberton, took Christmas decorating to a new level.

In addition to adorning the inside and outside of his house with decorations, he put them on his car as well.

He’s been covering his car in Christmas lights since 2013 because he wants to take the joy and spread it throughout the community. He loves to get people in the holiday spirit and to make them smile.

Wooley said when he moved with his wife and kids to their home in 2012, none of their neighbors put up Christmas decorations and now there are several houses that do. He’s gotten feedback from them and have said his decorating has inspired them to do the same.

His wife Raygan said when it came time to decorate, she brought up 13 bins filled with decorations.

“Christmas draws a special meaning of loved ones who have passed and are still here,” said Wooley.  He said it’s a good time of the year to reflect on loved ones.

Wooley said Christmas is his favorite holiday and he even has a gig where he plays Santa Claus.
