Panthers beat Woodridge to take first place

Norton’s boys basketball team defeated Woodridge 83-75 at home to improve to 5-3 (5-1 Portage Trail Conference).

The conference record ties them with the Bulldogs for first place in the conference. The two teams tied for first last year with 12-2 records.

Phillip Wallace led Norton with a game-high 31 points and 15 rebounds.

Next, the Panthers host rival Coventry Friday, Jan. 11 at 7 p.m.
