Murder suspect arrested in Barberton

Michael Ward of Cleveland Heights was arrested in a home on 24th Street Northwest in Barberton early this morning by agents of the Akron and Cleveland divisions of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force. Ward who has been wanted since Dec. 10, for aggravated murder.

Ward, 19, is suspected of killing Isaac Carson Jr. outside the Lady Luck’s Pub on Cleveland’s far east side the evening of June 5, 2018, after a fight in Carson’s vehicle. Carson, a barber and father of two, had recently won a $50,000 lottery ticket.
