The Normandy Invaders used a 23-4 third quarter to come back and defeat Barberton, 52-49.
The Magics trailed by 13 after three quarters, but scored 19 of the next 24 points to take a one-point lead on a Jordan Soyars jumper with 1:40 left in the game. Normandy came right back to score and then made two free throws, and Jamair Blackmon’s buzzer-beating half court shot was no good.
Soyars led the Magics with 32 points and four steals. Blackmon followed with 9 points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals. Four other players had 2 points, including Sonny Fox (nine rebounds), Ethan Elliott (five rebounds), Moses Petrie and Bradley Eagle.
