Barberton’s softball team closed out the 2019 season with a 7-5 loss to Kent at home.
Madison Harshbarger singled twice and drove in two while Haylee Marr singled twice, scored twice and drove in one. Laney Kaisk singled and had two RBIs, Amanda Hrabusa singled and scored, Amber Hughes singled and scored and Karlie Klemons singled.
Kaisk allowed seven hits and five earned runs in five innings pitched with four strikeouts and two walks. Marr pitched two innings and allowed one hit, one run and three walks with two strikeouts.
The Magics finish the season at 6-17, but the future is bright as the entire team will return next season.
