Norton enjoys a night out

The evening began with dinner and two shows and ended with a bang.

The weather was warm and the sun was shining for Norton’s Night Out at Columbia Woods Park. Food trucks from around the area were lined up near the park’s gazebo, and as people arrived they could smell barbecue from as far as the parking area.

The band Ashes played in the gazebo at the beginning of the July 27 event, but the main act, Alternative Agenda, needed more room so there was a separate stage set up.

The evening ended with a fireworks show at 10 p.m.
