Herald candidates night canceled

The Herald has canceled the candidates night for Aug. 29 due to fact that an event for candidates had previously been scheduled by Kim Trenary and other council candidates.

The Herald was unaware of this event and does not want to upstage the previously scheduled candidate night. We encourage all citizens and candidates to attend the event at 6 p.m., Monday, Aug. 26 at Al’s new banquet hall at 155 Second St. NW, next to the market and restaurant.

For more information, contact Kim Trenary at trenarykimberly@yahoo.com.

They should have a question and answer candidate night at the comic book store downtown. Cancel the whole election. Not 1 person on any ballot in this town has a clue. The Tragic City!

Probably decided that the questions would be too difficult to answer.

I wonder if you could have one just for mayoral candidates and leave these other folks on their own?

What??? So no famous mentalist (and probably no cash bar!). Too bad. I’ll skip this one.
