The Norton High School band is celebrating its most recent win at a competition in Ravenna.
The high school band competition, sponsored by the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA), drew 16 bands from all over the state. The bands are divided by size, and compete both within and across groups. Out of all the competition, Norton came out on top as first in their class. They also earned the title of runner-up grand champion, placing second highest in overall score across all 16 groups.
