The Lady Magics got off to a hot start offensively, but a dominant second half from Revere led to a 57-40 Minutemen victory.
Barberton led 30-23 at halftime and 35-26, but Revere closed out the third quarter on a 16-5 run to take the lead, then scored all 15 fourth quarter points.
Junior Hailey Haywood led the team with 17 points. She made all four free throws and three 3-pointers while adding five rebounds and three steals.
Brenna Walker made four 3-pointers, totaling 14 points. An’taniyha Easter (5 points, seven assists, three rebounds), Laney Kaisk (2 points, three rebounds) and Maris Ries (2 points, six rebounds) also scored.
The team’s record falls to 0-3 (0-2 Suburban League American Conference), and they will return home to play Copley Saturday, Dec. 7 at 2:30 p.m.
