Norton’s girls basketball team got back to the .500 mark by beating Coventry on the road.
The Panthers (2-2, 2-0 Portage Trail Conference) were led by Kaylee Murawski, who had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Bailey Shutsa just missed one as well, as she totaled 9 points and nine steals.
Gabriella Destefano (8 points, nine rebounds), Sarah Nauer (5 points, three steals), Riley Ballinger (5 points), Bailey Acord (2 points, five rebounds), Avery Morr (2 points, three rebounds) and Jill Thomas (1 point, two blocks) also scored.
The team returns to the court Wednesday, Dec. 11 at Cloverleaf at 7 p.m.
