A 33-year-old man was clinging to life after being shot the night of May 17 at a Michigan Place address.
Police were called to the scene around 11 p.m. after receiving several calls of multiple gunshots. They arrived and found the man on the ground; they say he was the only victim. Barberton paramedics took him to an area hospital, where he was in critical condition.
The victim was not identified, but police say the man was not believed to be a resident. Police also declined to say how many shots were fired or how many times the man was hit but did confirm it was multiple shots.
Detectives were investigating the shooting and processing the evidence May 18.
