Recall effort start slow
The first petition-signing event to recall Barberton Mayor Bill Judge kicked off at Decker Park July 13. Though a handful of signatures were collected, several people were unable to sign because they did not vote in the previous election, a requirement for the signature to be counted as valid.
According to Kim Trenary, the future dates and locations are as follows:
July 16- Tuscora Park 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
July 18- Edgewood Park 10 a.m.-noon.
July 20- Crissman Park 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
July 23- Breitenstine Park 6 p.m-7:30 p.m.
July 25- Avilee Webb Park 10 a.m-noon.
Jason Bica told the Herald, “I’m trying to bring change to the town. I want to see Barberton be the great city it once was.”

So we complain about disgruntled malcontents then start complaining about something? This is expressing the typical Biden mentality.
NO MORE DEMOCRATS!
To make Barberton the “great city it once was”, you need the great businesses and jobs that came with them.
There will be no more PPGs, no more B&Ws or any large businesses of that sort in Barberton.
So you can whine about all the losses or learn to live within your means.
Its time for the idea of “growth” to be put to rest. Take care of what the city has and do all you can to make current residents and businesses as prosperous as possible.
Counting on outside business to stay in the city is what got us here to start with!
WHY?!
I believe that it is pretty crappie for the Herald to make this page available to cause more dissention in our city.
Barberton has enough problems without catering to a few disgruntle malcontents.
Here’s a complaint for you: Why do do the Trump cadets in Ward five think that it is to steel my Biden sign I had stapled to a fence post. If they want to support a psychopath for president, fine. Bur allow me and others support our candidate freely. They are expressing a typical Trump mentality.

Looking for a list of better replacements for the mayor’s job. I’ll keep checking back.
