Magics fall to Hudson on the road

Barberton’s varsity football team ran into another quality opponent and couldn’t come away with a win, falling to 0-3.
This week’s opponent was undefeated Hudson, who beat the Magics 47-22.
Quarterback Chanden Lee threw touchdown passes to Kaige Lowe and Derrick Vaughn. Lee completed 33-of-50 passes for 338 yards.
Cam Macon ran 21 times for 100 yards and the other touchdown. He also caught five passes for 27 yards.
Vaughn led the receivers with 12 catches and 129 yards. Also catching passes were Lowe (three for 57), Hayden Macko (six for 42), Charlie Hornacek (four for 50), Mason Dewitt (two for 25), Glen Parker one for 11) and Dylan Sutton (one for three).
The Magics will look for their first win Friday, Sept. 18 at home versus Brecksville on Senior Night.
