Shrimp seller sought in stabbing

Akron police are looking for a man they say stabbed a potential customer Sept. 27 after he refused to buy shrimp in a gas station parking lot.

The victim, a 58-year-old man, was at a Circle K on East Exchange Street around 3:40 p.m. The victim said the suspect was selling shrimp in the parking lot and when the victim declined to buy any started to argue with him. During the confrontation, the suspect pulled out a large knife and stabbed the man, who police say had injuries to heas head and neck. The man was taken to Summa Akron City Hospital and his injuries were not considered life-threatening.

The suspect is a black man between 30 and 35, 6 feet, 180 to 200 pounds with medium-length dreadlocks.

    Wait……where did he get the shrimp anyway? Not exactly a shrimp boat selling it right around the corner. Bet those were nice and fresh.

    I’m speechless. Not only do you have to agree with everything they are shouting or you can’t eat your meal at a restaurant, now you have to buy their shrimp in a gas station parking lot or you won’t make it home alive.
