Norton Elementary School Principal Brady Sackett contacted families over the holiday weekend to let them know of a change for the upcoming school week. He said, “We are encountering a situation that will require some adjustments on your part as families.” Sackett then announced the food service personnel will not be in the building for the week, set to return Monday, Dec. 7.
Because of this, students will need to eat prior to and/or after school. For the handful of students who attend school all day, they will need to pack a lunch. The district will continue to distribute breakfast and lunches at the designated pick up area for students Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the middle school and high school.
