Man shot to death in Kenmore

Detectives are investigating the sudden death of a man found inside a vehicle in Kenmore Dec. 3.

Just after 6 p.m., officers responded to the area of Tampa Avenue and 28th Street Southwest after receiving a call about shots fired in the area. When officers arrived, they found a 21-year-old man with apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim was shot by an unknown suspect, who fled the scene before police arrived.

Paramedics were called to the scene and the victim was later pronounced deceased.

There is no suspect information at this time. The incident remains under investigation.

The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy.

The victim’s name is being withheld pending positive identification and family notifications.
