Agnes J. Herwick

Agnes J. Herwick, age 98, passed away Jan. 5. She was born Sept. 24, 1922 in Barberton, to the late Frank and Agnes (Regina) Grum. A long-time resident of Doylestown, Agnes worked for Babcock & Wilcox in her early years and later at Barberton Citizens Hospital and volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, and was active helping with their flower gardening, luncheons, and other church sponsored activities. Preceded in death by her husband, James L. Herwick; brothers Joseph and Frank Grum, and Louis Meglich; sister, Josephine (Joseph) Uhryk. She is survived by her daughters, Holly (Michael) Mentler of Dallas, Texas,  Mary Jo (John) Regennitter of Fairlawn, Jeanne (Robert) Milane of Greenville, South Carolina;  grandchildren Molly (Geoffrey) Ensby (Pennsylvania), Ellen (Jason) Pubal (Virginia), James Regennitter (Iowa), Katy (Don Charnley) Milane (Virginia), and Bryan Milane (Texas); a great granddaughter Ada Rae Pubal; sister in-law, Phyllis Grum (Ohio); niece Carol Sanders (Missouri) and nephews Jerry (Susan) Uhryk (North Carolina) and sons of the late Rev. Bevan and sister-in-law Helen Herwick Kimmel; and many great nieces and nephews. Private services will be held by the family with burial to take place at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery.     So sorry to hear of her passing. Always such a kind and giving person. She will be missed by all who knew her.
