Denzil ‘Denny” Boothe Jr., 76, passed away April 13. He was a resident of Barberton/New Franklin for 25 years. Denny was a barber in Mogadore at Gene’s Barber Shop for 30 years and a member of Valley Community Church. He enjoyed golfing and hiking. Preceded in death by his parents, Denzil and Louise. Denny is survived by his wife of 16 years, Dianne; children, Amy (Dwight) Austin and Todd Boothe; stepchildren, John (Lisa) Armbruster, Jennifer (William) Clark and Kristy Armbruster; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Ken (Judy) Boothe; along with other relatives, friends and loyal customers. Denny’s funeral service will be held Sunday, April 18 at 3 p.m. at the Campfield Hickman Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton with Pastor Mark Archer officiating. His family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of service. Due to current circumstances masks are REQUIRED and social distancing will be observed.
