Call police if you spot this truck

            This maroon Ford F350 pickup truck is  believed to be stolen from a business in Peninsula.  The thief is using the truck to break into several Barberton, Norton and surrounding area businesses.


June 13, Ruhlin Construction reported a breaking, entering and theft involving the maroon truck.  The suspect(s) broke into the construction site near I-76 and Wooster Road N. 

June 24, Barberton Detectives located the majority of the stolen property(pictured below).  The property was found hidden behind a vacant house in Akron. 

Several employees identified the stolen property and recovered it. Ruhlin estimated the value of the recovered property to be around $60,000.  With help from the Peninsula, Norton,  Akron Police Departments and The Summit County Adult Parole, Detectives are very close to signing charges on these thieves.
