Bertie Lou Lego

Bertie Lou Lego, 86 of Barberton went home to be with the lord July 20. She was born in Barberton April 24,1935 and lived her entire life in Barberton. Bertie was a member of The Salvation Army and was a home league member. She retired from Barberton Citizens Hospital after 24 years as a seamstress in the housekeeping department. She is survived by her children Samuel (Karen) Pritchard, Joann (Ted) Click and Linda (Ken) Pritchard, daughter-in-law Kathy Pritchard, her sister Sylvia Simms (the youngest of 12 children), five granddaughters (Jenna, Mekenzie, Bethany, Jessica and Erica), four grandsons (Kevin, Keith, Dustin and Kyle) and two great-grandchildren (Solomon and Laynie). Bertie is now reunited with her son Donald Pritchard, her husband Gene and seven brothers (Harold, Jessie, William, David, Jack, Joe and Frank) and three sisters (Mildred, Hannah and Myrtle) who have gone on before her. Bertie was a very loving mother and grandmother. She had a great sense of humor and always had a smile on her face. She also loved dogs and leaves behind her four Yorkie’s. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Wesleyan Church 139 31st St SW Barberton.
