Harold D. Arthur

It is with great sadness that the family of Harold Arthur announces his passing Dec. 29, 2021 at the age of 92. He was born on December 17, 1929 in Littlecreek, West Virginia. Harold served in the U.S. Army from 1945 thru 1948.  He started his own Apostolic Church in Wooster, Ohio in the late 70’s. Most of his life he played guitar from giving lessons in his home, worship songs at the church and for his family gatherings. Harold was a member of the Calvary Apostolic Church, where he was a very active member and was loved by his church family. He was a very Godly man that loved the Lord with all his heart and was a strong Godly light in each person’s life he touched. He was always full of love, smiles, encouragement and prayers for others. He is preceded in death by his father, Otha Corral Arthur; mother, Amy; wife of 67 years, Donna (North) Arthur; son, David A. Arthur; sister, Oma “Ruth” North and brothers, Otha Corral Arthur Jr. “Robert” (Emma) and Mitchell Arthur. Harold is survived by his sisters, Joyce (Hunter) Loan and Ruth (Jack) Jackson; brothers-in-law, Robert (Julie) North and Daniel (Judy) Rager; sisters-in-law, Rita (Jack, deceased) Krum and Judy (Chuck, deceased) North; daughter-in-law, Amy Arthur; cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. He was a very special grandpa to his great-nephew, Landan Browning and great-niece, Karsen Browning.
