Charles F. Krause

Charles F. Krause, 78, passed away March 26. Charlie was born in Barberton where he was a life resident and graduate of Barberton High School Class of 1962. He retired from the Babcock and Wilcox Co. after 42 years of service. Charlie was a proud member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church where he served as an usher, altar server, Eucharistic Minister and was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 14111. Preceded in death by his sons Dominic John and Charles F. II; brother Harold; sister Olive; and half sisters Margaret, Katie and Pat. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Marie A. (Fox); and numerous In-laws, nieces and nephews. Charlie’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 1, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. Fr. Robert Jackson celebrant. Calling Hours from 10 a.m. until the funeral mass at the church. Private burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Knights of Columbus Council 1411 c/o Prince of Peace Church or Summit County Special Olympics.     Dear Marie, we are keeping you and your family in our prayers. We are sorry to hear of Chuck’s passing. He was a great guy, and it was a job to speak with him, and be his friend over years. He will be missed.
