Preparation primed for premier party

Bits of color are peeking through the green buds. Barberton’s world-class chrysanthemum display is about to erupt, just in time for the annual soiree in its honor.

The Barberton Mum Festival is Sept. 24 and 25 this year. With a theme of “Red, White and Blooms,” it’s a party of Americana.

Favorites like the craft vendors and Chippewa Lake Water Ski Team are back again, joined this year by the Great Lakes Timber Show. Mums will be for sale and don’t forget to check out the sand sculptor.

Watch The Barberton Herald coming up for the full schedule.

Speaking of The Herald, we will be running a discount subscription drive in front of our office at 70 Fourth Street Northwest; $10 for a year of award-winning local news for Summit County residents. You’ll also have a shot at Ohio State Buckeyes tickets.

I set up a self sustainable town and it was decimated for profits. The same scumbag monopolies I fought against now have an office where my gatehouse used to sit. I see the same thing happening to our entire country now. This festival will be seen as racist when you use words such as “Americana” by the leftist trash that have destroyed this once great country. It happened in Egypt. It happened in Rome. It happened in Europe and it’s happening right now in America. If there was ever a time to stand up and fight back that time is now. Put an end to the subversion. Or go on pretending for another year or two…..
