Norton’s volleyball team plays at Barberton in a non-conference showdown.

Norton makes its longest conference road trip of the season when they travel to Streetsboro. The Panthers beat the Rockets 33-21 a year ago.

Panther Place is a night of fun for high school students! Panther Place events will take place Thursdays throughout October at Grace Church Norton Campus in the cafe/gym area. Activities for this night include an interactive movie, volleyball, kickball, a “Do Good Opportunity” and snacks. These events are free to attend.

The Ravens come to Norton looking for revenge after the Panthers’ 21-14 win at Ravenna a year ago. The win forced a three-way share of the conference title and kept Ravenna from making the playoffs.

Night #3 activities include karaoke night, basketball, volleyball, doughnuts and a “Do Good Opportunity”. These events are free to attend.

Norton hosts the Spartans, who they beat 41-7 last year. The Spartans have just one winning season this century and haven’t made the playoffs since 1997.

The 21st Annual Dinner and Silent Auction fundraiser

will be Saturday, Oct. 19, 4-6 p.m. at Johnson United

Methodist Church. Tickets are $20 and $5 for children

ages 4-11 and can be purchased from the BACM office

or a board member.

The Panthers play its final road conference game in Lodi. Norton has defeated Cloverleaf in three of the last four matchups, including a 39-21 win at home last season. The Colts 5-5 record last season was their best since 2009.
